Chad and Naomi Hanson were the third generation owners and operators of Nanika Lake
Outfitters. Their lives have been deeply rooted in the guide outfitting industry. From the
beginning, they treated outfitting as a true profession—focused on precision, logistics, respect
for the land, and delivering exceptional hunts and memorable experiences for every client. Their
passion for the territory and commitment to quality has consistently shown through in their
equipment, staff, and results year after year.

Chad began guiding hunters and fishermen immediately after finishing high school and has spent
over 23 years guiding in this territory. The history of this operation stretches back even
further—Barry Grainger, was the original outfitter of the area dating back to 1949—forming the
foundation of traditions and standards that still define the operation today.

Naomi Hanson also grew up in the outfitting world, with her father Jim serving as guide outfitter
of this territory for more than 25 years. Known for her incredible home-cooked meals, tireless
work ethic, and attention to detail, Naomi has always been central to the camp’s welcoming,
family-style atmosphere—ensuring hunters are comfortable, well cared for, and fully supported
throughout their stay.

Today, Chad and Naomi have passed the operation on to Amos Rossworm, entrusting him with
the traditions, values, and family spirit that have defined this outfitter for decades. Amos has
been a hunter his entire life and has spent the last decade working in the guiding industry,
gaining hands-on experience in the field and a deep respect for what makes a successful, ethical
hunt. He is committed to honoring the legacy built before him—maintaining the close-knit,
personal feel clients have come to expect—while also guiding the business forward with care,
professionalism, and thoughtful growth. The foundation remains unchanged: respect for the land,
respect for the hunt, and respect for every guest who steps into camp.
